About BrokerScout

BrokerScout is an independent editorial project that researches online trading apps and explains, in plain English, how they work and what to check before depositing money. Tickz Review is our standalone resource for one subject only: the Tickz trading app (tickz.com). We are not Tickz, we are not owned by Tickz, and we are not its customer-support channel.

What this site covers

Tickz is a new, mobile-first fixed-time and CFD-style trading app. Because it is young, search results are full of "scam", "legit" and "problem" queries that mostly reflect unfamiliarity rather than evidence of wrongdoing. Our pages work through those questions one at a time: how the platform works, what licensing and fund-handling it describes, how verification and withdrawals operate, and how to read the thin, early pool of public feedback without being misled by it.

How we research

We do not claim to have opened a live account, deposited funds, or measured payout speeds. BrokerScout works from public sources and an evaluation framework, not hands-on trading. That means:

Who writes it

Editorial is led by Joel Whitfield, Markets Editor, who has spent years writing about retail trading platforms, payments and consumer protection for general audiences. The brief is consistent: be objective, be candid about how little long-term evidence exists for a brand this new, and never oversell.
